CHIMERA: A SHORT FILM
Become a Donor!
Thank you for considering a donation to Chimera! Your generosity will contribute to the creation of a new short film at a time when many artists are facing unprecedented concerns and struggles. Simply said, we could not produce this new story without you.
As you know, the arts are vital to all communities: they bring us together to share experiences and reflect on our world and provide a platform for expression that can serve as a beacon of light during dark times. Your donation becomes our film by paying, housing and feeding artists; covering printing; purchasing props, set pieces, and costumes; securing our filming venue, and so much more. Through your contribution, you play a direct role in creating this compelling story and building back our artistic community.
A few things to keep in mind as you donate:
1. As a small group of artists, we are unable to process donations as tax deductible.
2. Donations are received by our Executive Producer, Christopher David Roche, and can be written out as checks or sent via Venmo (@ChimeraShortFilm2021).
3. If donating via Venmo please put your name, as you would like it to appear on our website, in the notes and include "Chimera Short Film Donation". Then please click the button below to send an email to us for confirmation!
4. All donors will receive a letter of receipt that serves as our contractual obligation to use the funds solely towards the production.
5. With the letter of receipt, all donors will be sent a investment package.
6. Radical transparency is the bedrock of our team and any donor may request an audit of how their donation was used.
Below you will find a button that links you directly with us to discuss how you can donate and share any questions or thoughts on Chimera.
Thank you so much and we look forward to sharing this film’s journey! We’re so excited to have you on the team and cannot wait to celebrate its release as soon as it is safe.
Forever grateful,
Lisa, Chris, Carly, Tom, George, Ashley, and Cat
